Need a new computer - i think.. Advice?

oh weird. i see it on my screen. check my facebook page, i just uploaded the same pic today.

also i checked the ad i bought it from and it says

Monitor Specs:
- 4 Months Old -1920 by 1200 Pixel Resolution
-No dead pixels

- 23' Apple Cinema Display


is it normal for some monitors to get hot and not others? i know my powerbook gets hot but not the screen part so i'm not sure if i should be concerned or not...
 
they definitley do get warm. you gotta realize the laptop monitor had its parts underneath it in the bottom part where theres a little more gooing on in the casing on your cinema display, ive got an XHD3000 here that PUMPS the heat
 
okay well thanks for easing my mind!!!!! i turned it off cuz i got scared ha ha.. ohhh i'm such a loser....
