Need a good *noise reduction* plugin for FCP

[david_p]

just wondering what people are using to clean up noise in the video image, chroma noise is a bit more of a concern than luma?

also one that would run in realtime would be sweet.

im on an 8 core mac fully loaded running the lastest version of FCP. not SL yet though.

thanks!

TMTS can be found here.

The Nattress filters are a very good deal.

How exactly do you download the TMTS filters?? I do not see any available links to any actual files.

Click the "Download Now" button in the center of the screen.

I second that. NeatVideo is excellent.

yep, Neat Video is the way to go....

[david_p]

does the Neat Video plugin run in real time? need to render only?

{{{EDIT}}}
answer to my own question is *NO* it does not run in real time. its a finisher *ONLY* similar to the Magic Bullet plugs.

since the demo only covers a small portion of a HD frame i found it kind of hard to assess. seems that most agree that this is the better one for NR but i wish the demo wasnt so restrictive. one of weirder demos i have tried. i would rather they put the big X thru the frame instead.
