Need a backlight. Is there something new out - affordable LED light?

The 60 watt you linked to includes a Bowens adapter mount. Without it, the 60 watt version sells on Aliexpress for $428.00 w free shipping, almost 100 less. The 30 watt verison is on Amazon US (under the name Top Fotos US Nanguang) for $318.00 https://www.amazon.com/Top-Fotos-Na...5-23b4-40b1-8da6-7c1c9eb81d33&pf_rd_i=desktop The 60 watt is on the U.S. website for $462.00 here https://www.amazon.com/Top-Fotos-Fr...5-23b4-40b1-8da6-7c1c9eb81d33&pf_rd_i=desktop but the Aliexpress is a better deal at $428.00 shipped for the same light.

I am tempted to order a couple but I still keep wondering about warranty and repair. If they break or stop working, I think you would end up probably throwing it in the trash because trying to get these types of products worked on under warranty can be difficult to impossible unless the company sets up a U.S. based repair facility. So $400.00 is a lot for a semi-disposable light.

That first video
was from Zylight, who says they will be distributing them in the US. They are Los Angeles based and have a warranty for their products. I don't see them listed for sale on their website yet but going through them might be a good option.

Yes, if you have the patience to wait for them to get them into stock and out to dealers ;-) Hopefully it won't be like the Aputure Tri 8. Showed last Fall yet we still cannot buy them. It seems like it can take 6 months to a year to get these sorts of distribution deals into place. I would definitely prefer to buy them from Zylight as they have a pretty good rep within the industry but if they are going to sell them for premium prices and it literally is the same light, I would be hard pressed to make the choice, buy them cheap from Aliexpress and take my chances or buy them for 30% more through Zylight and have a warranty. It's a gamble.

I've spoken with Zylight several times, & they've always been most helpful, so maybe try calling them. Their warehouse is in SoCal, & I've been able to get items shipped to Hot Rod Cameras quickly. Alternatively Illya may be able to answer your questions.

I'd be very interested in compact bi-color (or better yet RGB+W) 400W LED fresnel, but only if the color's great, & it's built for professional use. Arri's L10-C is a pretty great unit, but bulky.

Has anyone found a chart of how bright (lux@3m, 5m or lumen, candela) the Boltzen 30 and 50 are?

The NanGuang CN-60F LED Fresnel is - according to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfPsGPY2YtU - about 360lux in flood to 610lux spot.

I just did a test with the Boltzen 50 and here are the results measured with a Sekonic L-478DR, globe retracted.

Spot:
3ft - 10,000
6ft - 2700
10ft - 600

Flood:
3ft - 2000
6ft - 740
10ft - 340

YMMV, as I was doing this test alone and holding a tape measure and a light meter at the same time has, limitations!

So how are those NanGuang CN-60F!? did anybody get them and would like to share some info with us!? thanks in advance for that!
right now I'm trying to put my hands and purchase the new WASP 100-C LED SPOT, still waiting for a reply from sellers in EU but seems these are so new that nobody have price or know about availability here in EU!
