have conspired to buy the entire planet's supply of 8GB P2 cards and have secretly compacted them into a silo in Nebraska. ;)

I ordered the HVX200 package with 2 8GB cards back in early December. I got the camera a few months ago. I am still waiting on the cards. I called B&H today and they said that it's Panasonics fault for the delay. They are amazed that I still don't have the cards and that they will continue to have their buyer pester Panasonic. They say that a lot of people are still waiting on the cards, This is very annoying.
 
David, I've since enclosed the secret silo in concrete and raised two more. Only one contains the P2 stores whereas the others contain explosives.

Your too slick for me! Keep your 8G P2's I've still got my two 4g and two G4 powerbooks with OWC RAID drives. Muhahaha!

Nah, he must've stole that one from the REAL silo location! It was built at the end of October in Salem, Massachusetts in anticipation of mass storage of 8GB P2 cards.

Wait, they've been moved again. Since more 8GB P2 cards
have been shipped, the remaining quantities have been relocated to a smaller storage space.

Last time I spoke with a rep at Abel Cine Tech's NY office, they had "plenty" of 8GB P2 cards in stock. I have ordered 8GB P2 cards several times in the past. Try and give them a call.

Try Omega Broadcast in Texas, just received one I purchased from them today. Prompt shipment and courteous service! Think the 8GB P2's are hard to find in the USA......try Canada.....ugh!:)
