Need 10s clip of "violence" footage

Hello,

We are shooting a short scene where this little boy is watching something violent on TV. I don't have any TV footage of "violence" to loop on the television set while we are shooting, and we shoot in five days.

Does someone have 10 seconds of DV video that we can use for this? We're not looking for grotesque violence (heads chopped off, etc.). We need guns, shooting, hitting, fighting, etc.--something that protrays the standard "drama" violence of television today.

This is a low-budget piece, so we don't have any money to offer for using your footage, but we can give you a credit.

Thanks!
Russell

youve got time..just get 2 stage hands or willing adults that arent in the film to choke eachother and roll around on the floor ..maybe put a fake gun in one of thier hands.. or a knife. and shoot it handheld all actionesque like. have them dramatically fight over the knife or gun or whatntot. then play it on the tv. should be quick and easy..and youll own it 100%.

use PSYCHO: shoot a hand with a knife and a woman screaming....everyone will know what you mean.

Do you mean footage like what the monkey's are watching at the beginning of *28 days later*. Just random violence and such? Or stuff more like in *Shaun of the Dead* where they are watching TV news and Zombies are eating everybody? Anything like this? There is quite a montage of violence in both *Bowling for Columbine* and *Fahrenheit 9-11* if you need to use it as a reference or perhaps "borrow it", but I'd imagine that would violate copyrights and such. ~reservoir~

HansK, thanks for the link. I checked out some of the footage at the link you sent, but I can't find anything modern enough to pass as a violent show for today. Plus, I'm not sure I can use some of the footage because of rights issues.

I was simply hoping to find someone who might have about 10 seconds of DV footage of a short film they did that we can loop on the television in the background.

Still looking.

Thanks,
Russell

..cmon man. wed all love to help you out, but most people dont just give away an action sequence like that. espescially considering that you could probably stage something good quick and easy in less than 10 min. or you could just show the boys reaction face, and make some quick audio that sounds like guns going off and people dying and such, and then just show a second of a man dying with blood behind him on a wall or something.

its just 10 seconds. and you still have days to do it. its a great creative opportunity that could be fun and should be easy.
