I'm watching this cheesy mini series on NBC, 10.5. The freakin' DP uses sooo much damn snap zoom!! It's soooo annoying. I want to walk up and punch the DP in the face.
BWUAHA this is such a ghetto production...your proverbial TV movie if you will... One aerial shot of a building was just a reversed shot of a previously shown shot. All the cars on the streets were going backwards!! BUWHAHAHAAH>A

Fewer lawsuits. Less goes with singular items, fewer with plural - always remember: less fat, fewer calories.
(Okay, I hear it now, all the complaints that we now have an English teacher online - actually, I shared an office with a former English teacher and he bugged me about this so I'm passing it on to you - on a serious note, however, keep this distinction in mind when you write your scripts, especially documentaries or commercials - for dramas, no one cares).

If you want to see it.. it's the shot of the city hall towards the latter part of the movie.
Don't go see "Man On fire" if the you don't like the camera movement drawing attention to itself. I liked the movie, but the camerawork was a little over the top.

Well, boys. "Man on Fire" and "10.5" are two of the hottest and most watched productions in 2004. The average audience loves this stuff...and the camera work.
I think Spielberg is the only director left that does't use that snap zoom stuff.
Snap zooms have there place, in 1970's kung fu movies. I think thats the only time I appreciated there effectiveness, well that and the opening segment to Hawaii 5-0.
