Wow and wow again Mino. Aiden says thanks, and like someone said some pages back, you really should make some kind of compilation of these. They are just fantastic. Some of the crispness and detail is astounding. The bee shots, the feathers, the hair on the raccoons, the vines in the dragonflys, incredible.
Thanks Matt. Unfortunately my 70-300mm is dying and must be shipped clear across the country for repair which I would think will take a bit of time. It died two months past warranty. I never by the extended stuff and now I pay :embarasse The lens is going to be missed mucho while it's away. I still have the 40-150 but it just doesn't measure up to my baby. I guess I'll now have to shoot other stuff:violin:
Mino, If you haven't already done so, I would encourage you to submit some of your work in the Canon Parks photo contest. Def a good way to build up your resume since your work is at a professional level, plus you can win some Canon gear if that interests you (just don't mention your an olympus shooter and erase your exif data )
Steven, Nice shot. If you want to make an upgrade I would recommend investing in a different telephoto lens. The Bokeh in this shot is pretty terrible. Is it a mirror lens?
Getting into a Nikon D700 but people aren't exactly lining up to buy the E-3 so it will be a few months yet if I have to scrimp and save. I thought she'd sell quicker. So I guess we'll see a few more post's using this system. If I don't get a fair price, I'll keep it as a rough and tumble outfit Either way I'm getting th D700 sometime soon.
