Native DVCPRO HD in next version of FCP?

Anyone know if the next version of FCP will handle DVCPRO HD .mxf files from an HVX200 natively? I hear FCP5 does already, but I also hear it doesn't (some QT reference file or something- how long does that take anyway?).
And if the next version can do it, anyone know when it will come out?

(I'm thinking of making "the switch." Any handy info for a mac n00b will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!)

Will see what is coming out in the next version at NAB this year. As for native DVCproHD i would bet on it..

Apple supports the codec natively, but doesn't support the MXF files. They have to be converted to .mov files to work in FCP.

It would be a wonderful workflow improvement if they would implement native timeline MXF support!

It takes as long as copying the mxf from disk to disk - from your source disk to your scratch disk.
