Narrator Studio time

how long should one schedule for a feature length documentary voiceover session? I'm curious how long a session usually is needed. Any suggestions.

This isn't any easy question to satisfy without more specifics.
There are may variables.
Not the least of which is; How experienced is the VO artist.
A pro with proper direction can do things quickly and smoothly.
But he needs a clearly written script.
Always good to have script finalized before you enter the studio.
The time to change copy isn't in the studio with the clock ticking and another client waiting to get in.
If you're undecided about wording or pronounciation, record it bothall ways, and choose in post.
There are always preferable and acceptable versions,---often not back and white.
Know your mic preferance before hand.
Smile and have some damn fun!

Are you using union or non-union? Do you have a script? Do you have a breakdown of the script? I think we need a little more detail here.
