NAMM has lost it's luster for me.

Anyone else going? I will be at booth 6985......all week (sigh). Thank God, they serve drinks at the convention center. Leaving Monday, back the following Monday. woooo, 14 hr days.

Well, just got back. I will post a few pics in my blog in a little while. Got to talk and hang with a bunch of cool musicians (Mark Mendoza - Twisted Sister, the production crew for Gladys Knight, Christopher Stevens - Carrie Underwood's Keyboardist, Ed Supple and his wife Karan, and many more....)

I totally missed this post. Do you work for Avant?
I used to rep for Zildjian, Electro-Voice, SWR, Alesis and others for years (back in the 90's).
I sure do remember those 14 hour days and endless meetings.

Then there was NAB, And LDI!

I've been meaning to checkout those new MixCubes...any good?

If I got this wrong... nevermind!

LOL, yep, you got it right!

The MixCubes are the replacements for the Auratones. We built them to be very close to the 5C's. We like to say "these are the best crappy speakers you can buy".

We were blown away when Mike from Recording Magazine came by to see if we saw the new issue. Holy Cow! We made the front cover! That is the mic I spend an hour and half one each one modifying. A very proud moment for me.

It might just be time to replace my auratones then! These look much cooler...do they come in lime green?

LOL, we get asked all the time on different colors. But, alas, no. Buttercream only. 1 step under piano gloss.

I'll be sure to check these out... if you can make a mix sound good on these...it sounds great on anything else. I used to use these all the time back when I was mixing spots for AM radio and TV.

...yes, I said AM radio.

I was there, had a blast as usual. Saw Uli Jon Roth on stage with Warren Demartini, Jeff Scot Soto, Doug Aldrich, etc. Can't be beat.
