Naming Clips With Multiple Cameras

I think this is the right place to post this. Please correct me if I am wrong.

My question is about naming clips when shooting with multiple cameras. Last weekend I used two cameras on some of my shots for the first time. I am curious how people name them. I would just put A or B at the end. For example 1A-1 became 1A-1 A and 1A-1 B. I don't like this system partly because it gives two different camera positions the same name.

I am simply curious what everyone else does. Also do you guys slate twice?

I use different folders for each camera.
Right clicking on a clip in Vegas shows the path to the media.
The project media list also shows the path to the original clips.
So keeping cameras separate by folder, and even inside of a master project folder, makes everything obvious and there's no need to rename any clips.
