You should probably put some kind of limit on the number, like top 5 maybe :) .

I'm surprised you guys haven't put these two on:

Gigli
White Noise

:)

Blckhawk, you like Casino Royale? Worst Bond film ever. :)

Lethal Weapon: My favorite action film and one I can watch over and over again.
Midnight Cowboy
8 1/2
The Mosquito Coast
The English Patient
Apocalypse Now
Annie Hall

I'll have to think about my other favorites. It's tough to choose because as I get older I find that I'm outgrowing films.

My list is short:

Matrix
Mule Skinner Blues
Bread and Tulips

and of course the one I'm going to make some day. :)

First to come to mind:

Glengarry Glenn Ross
The Insider
Do the Right Thing
Dangerous Liasons
Adaptation

Here is a few that I could think of:
LOTR trilogy
Bottle Rocket
Rushmore
BTTF trilogy
Cable Guy (that's right, you heard me)
Rear Window
Dr. Strangelove
Goonies
Flight of the Navigator (ahhh, childhood goodness)
Abyss
Miller's Crossing
Saving Private Ryan
Close Encounters of the Third Kind

I know I have more, but that is good enough

Lost in Translation-an enjoyable film without huge visual effects, but with a good story

Apocalypse Now
Touch of Evil
Dr. Strangelove
Clock Work Orange
The Trial (Welles)
La Femme Nikita
The Searchers
Cinema Paradiso
Wild at Heart
The Set-up.

Ect, ect, ect....

About here is where people will start competing as to how many obscure foreign or art films they can name . . . :)

I try to avoid these things...my *favorite* films aren't necessarily *good* films. :)

OK. The remake of The Thomas Crown Affair.

The rest fall into the other category.

There's "The Importance of Being Earnest," which was a so-so flick. I'm a Reese fan, though . . .

Citizen Kane
Scarface
The Good, The Bad, the Ugly
Bullit
The Exorcist
the Great Escape
The Bridge over the River Kwai
Philadelphia
Contact

not necessarily in that order...............

I like, did not know that Earnest P. Worrel did Ocar Wilde! No way it is better than "Earnest goes to Africa" or "Earnest in the Army" (that one made me cry).
