Name this Sound Effect

[Dingos8mybaby]

I must've seen & heard this effect dozens of times but I can't seem to think of what to call it. It's usually heard as we see some text being "typed" on a computer monitor in movies, or, on forensic cop shows, whenever they hit the ANY key, a program always starts up with this noise. I'd describe it as a really high-pitched, digital ringing noise, maybe even consecutive BEEP noises played in rapid succession.

Any idea what this is called? And do you think I can find this stock sound effect anywhere (RF)? or would it be easier to just create it from scratch?

Thanks.

EDIT: NM, folks. I just put a bunch of beeps together, turned up the pitch, and was pretty satisfied with the effect. Cheers!

It's either a typewriter/teletype noise, or dot matrix printer depending on the show.
