my employer says that the M2 Redrock HD bundle that we purchased is missing a piece. He says the piece that is missing connects to the step down ring so that the redrock can attach to the hvx 200. So it's camera, step down ring, something, red rock. He left the manual else where. Do you know the piece he is refering too?

The SD or HD Achromat attaches to the step down ring.
