Name dropping Stories?

I was in The Sound of Music (theatre version of course) with Barry Pearl, that's right BARRY PEARL. The same guy who played Doody in Grease.
 
I think we just realised, we are the worst name droppers around!

...actually having said that, when I met Robert De Niro in NY, he was pretty bad, kept going on - Al Pacino this, Coppola that... :)
 
This novelist is pitching me a feature script he wrote. He says that he put it up on TriggerStreet and a producer on the site loved the script and wanted to shoot it. The producer even knew Helen Hunt, and said she would be interested. Seriously, if you know Helen Hunt and she will work on a film for you, why would you go to TriggerStreet to find a script?

By the way, the script is 99 pages of high fluent dialog that all leads up to the 50 year old lead character (who the novelist wants to play) having sex with a women twenty years his junior.

Met John Travolta once. That's RIGHT, John "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" Travolta. It was over 20 years ago, after his "Staying Alive" period and, being a young stupid kid, I didn't realize his fame had faded and his celebrity membership would not be renewed for another decade. Oh well, we didn't have many "former" celebrities come thru Houston, so you gotta get an autograph while you can.
