NAB DVXuser Party

Hey guys, for all the cool peeps who were at the party and asked to be informed when the Digital Cinema Course preorder window goes up, it's up, and I somehow made it before Midnight on the 29th  as promised. All 100 preorders will ship on or before May 30th, in your hands by June 6th.

Props to Mr. Land for giving me the basic site tools during NAB to get the html code working with Paypal. Peace brotha! :) Stayed up till midnight teaching me the ins and outs. Now that's a comrade you want in your corner.

As promised Rush I tried to be the first. But your website would not take my order. I just now ordered it.
Thanks again,
Scott C. Chambers

Thanks Scott, thanks Shane! :) Sorry Scott, that was probably when I was messing with the HTML (Grrr...) But you came up at a nice number 5. Big Mike got the first order. But there will be something special in there for all DVXuser orders. I don't want to hijack this thread, so I will leave it at that, thanks for the confidence guys.

Hey Jarred,
Thanks for a great party on Monday night...glad you where able to meet Rene, and see what we have going on....
Good to hook up with Elvis and Barry again too....
I ended up spending the weekend in LA getting my plans together for setting up timelapsedigital USA.

Wow! That is some great time lapse. Was the camera movement done in post? It sure doesn't look like it. Great stuff.

EDIT: I read through the site; servo motors. nice

No, all axis are done on location in camera XY and Z, with servos and controllers.
I am setting up the US office of timelapsedigital for my friend Rene.

Rene's software/camera system is really quite amazing. Some of the timelapse shots he showed are unlike any timelapse I've ever seen before. Good stuff!

Some of that stuff was just hypnotic, sorta like Jarred and Evin's Las Vegas footage at the bootcamp. Evin, you guys definitely need to put an electronic soundtrack on it, sort of like the music from your B&W courtyard footage.

Thanx Guys from Rene and me. I am busy writing the business plan and seeing ways of modifying the rig for exporting of various data XYZ co-ordinate info, and also putting it on track.
