Don't think I've mentioned this in any of my videos, in terms of discussing that 3D printed accessory.
I've certainly considered buying them (and I might very well do so in the near future).
My biggest concern is if they might block easy access to the PFL keys. But I feel this is less of an issue than I first thought.
My other thought is "are they really needed???"
Because there are two ways you use the F8n:
1) While booming as well. In which case I am almost never adjust it during a take, because I'm not an octopus! I only have so many hands.
2) When using a boom op under you, in which case I've got both hands free and my full attention for the F8n, in which case the small knobs is less of a draw back. Plus I'm probably using my Zoom F Control panel anyway.
