Anyone going to NAB this year or is there a DVX group meeting there? Anyone know where to find codes for a sessions pass. I have exhibits and post production world.

Yup, heading down on Sunday, leaving the following Sunday. First time in Vegas and at NAB.
Got the P|PW pass. Not sure about sessions, sorry.

I'll be there Sunday through Thursday, heading up the DVXUser/Landmine Media coverage of the show. There's not an "official" DVXUser get-together, but hey…if we get enough people interested, perhaps there can be. :D

I occasionally try to set up meetips in LA quarterly, but it can be difficult trying to get so many wkotking professionals together. You can always let others know you want to meet up and see what happens, but there is no official meetup at this time. I am considering NAB this year, but have never been before.

I urge those who have not been to check it out at least once! I go every 3 or 4 years and this will be my 3rd trip out. Always cool to see the new gear as it's announced but also get hands on time that you might not otherwise get.

@n90guy, I am very seriously considering. Hope to see you out there. I wonder how many DVX'ers will be there?

Okay, so I'll be organizing a DVXUser/BMCUser Meetup at NAB, sponsored by our friends at Texas Media Systems. We're trying to find a good spot to have it at the moment, so I'll keep everyone posted on details as we have them.

I'm thinking a Monday happy hour after the first day of the show would work best. What do you guys think?

And look for an announcement thread soon with date, location, time, and RSVP info.

Cheers!

That would be awesome! Excited to be out at NAB for my first time. It'd be cool to chat with other ursa owners too!
