N0ob ? fcp 4.5 and panther and ripped dvd

Hi all i have fcp 4.5 and panther, how do i import a ripped dvd it just a vob file on my hard drive, into fcp 4.5 and save it so i can play it with quicktime. i have gotten so many different ways from google that its driving me nuts :shocked: this was a rip of a commercially produced dvd and no !!! its not porn :embarasse: thanks
 
thanks so use handbrake to change it to mpeg4 then i can use it with quicktime and or fcp 4.5 even though im using 10.3.9 :shocked: thats all thanks scotty
