mystery problem...need a genius

I make FLV's from my quicktimes created in FCP to add to my website. On my latest project the FLV's are not playing properly on my website..audio but no image. It seems like there is a problem deep within the quicktime's I have exported from FCP. The strangest thing is that even when I print to video, and then reimport the files, I still am getting the same problem..as if there is a timecode that is wrong...or what can it be?How would you take an FCP project and rid a timeline of all it's attributes to clean it up for an uncorrupted export? Does Nesting do that? what info. is left when you pull the image off of tape? a timecode? anything else?

What software are you using to create the flash videos?

When you export the file out of FCP to QT... does the video show?

Does the video show in the flash video prior to loading it to the website?

What browser are you using?

Ever happened before?

To create FLV's I export from Final Cut as a DV stream, then use ffmpegX (free download online) to convert to the FLV. Works great.

hey captain,
i'm using on2 flx, but the same anomaly occurs when they are made in flash. This is a new problem, and is only happening on videos coming from one project. My workflow is identical..and this has nothing to do with the browser. It seems like there is something imbedded in the material leaving fcp...that is scewing up the flv...it is a real mystery.

johney5-

Please don't double post. Had I seen this thread with your other I might have made other suggestions....
