Nice part. Here's what it says "16mm with 3/8" female attachment + Camera Bracket" soit's a 3/8" threaded hole which is the common size for most bolts on these types of attachments. 1/4" is the next common size.
 
Oh, yeah, I guess that makes sense, thanks! Almost everywhere refers to this part as being w/o the camera mount, but still includes info on it anyway, so I figured that the 3/8 female "attachment" was talking about the not included mount. That is super helpful, I can't wait to show what I'm building!

FYI, if anyone's interested, I just got this response from B&H to my original question above:

"Hello,

On one end, the opening in the stud is 3/8"-16, the other side has a 1/4"-20 thread size to it."
