Myspace copying Facebook

It really seems myspace has been copying features to their website from what facebook has. Few examples... Myspace got a status not too long ago, facebook removed the "is" in their status, then a while later myspace removed the "is" in their statuses. Facebook added a feature to where you can comment on just about anything, I have a myspace but don't use it much and about a week ago I was checking mine out and saw you could comment anything someone just posted or made on myspace. The latest update that's the same as facebook I just found out about it last night I was on and myspace added the little chat box that facebook first came out with a few months ago.

What's up with Myspace?
 
Kinda like how twitter is basically an expanded version of that mass-chat thing we had in our uni network...ahh, how I miss being repeatedly reminded that someone got wasted/stoned/deflowered while doing research on the DBs...:)
