My war movie...

It needs some.....tweaking. Right now i also dont have anything good for exporting. But yes...i will show it when i can.

I used Pinnacle studio 10. I could not figure out how to export to a small enough file in high enough quality...and to where.

the movie is about 8 mins long...

ive gotta go for now....need to be up in about 3 hours to get myself covered in poo....(yes actual poo) at the farm where i work...

Those are some brialliantly timed shots (the sunset is perfect, that must've been hard to get), and some quality scenery.

I'm using a crappy camera, can't mainting continuity due to bad lighting/time, and we usually film in or around a house. So you definately have a one up on me.

Is that place near to where you live or did you have to do some searching for it?

Thank you for your complements. I too have alot of trouble with continuity when it comes to lighting. These are really just the best parts of the movie....there are other parts where the lighting is alot different...and very bad. The location was about a mile from my house. Its in a pasture, which happened to be owned by the farmer who employs me...so that worked out good.

I have not seen/used Studio 10, but I can't imagine there isn't a WMV export option. If it's set up anything like older versions of Studio, you should have a WMV option in your "make movie" step.

Okay, I had a play. The compression does no favours to the colour stepping though.

I would try and buy a higher end edit package if you can, that should really help. Even a very cheap camera can make great images nowdays.

mmm the increased contrast on the second shot did the job, guess it depends on the total scene if it could be used, but the grab looks better.

It should work quite well if you luma key the sucker (requires overexposing just the sky of course).

If you guys want to add some realism- get a barber. Seriously.
It'll grow back. Army- let alone that era had really short cuts.
