hey, cheer up. I'm sure its not that bad. I spent Christmas alone. I still find ways to keep myself happy. Why do you hate your job? What is it that you do?
It's better than a vacation going on too long, and your just aching to get back to it. Because when you go back your thinking "Why the hell did I want to come back to this?"
Me, this morning, I had to get the family going so I could go to work. I explained: at 7:45, I’m leaving and locking the door, and we’ll all be on the other side it. Whether or not your stuff is.
This was mostly directed at my brother-in-law who was still asleep at 7:30.
Well, it was a good vacation. I've had a CRAPPY year and by the time I took my recent vacation, it was overdue. I slept like there was no tomorrow (not sure if that is the right euphemism, but you get it). I read an entire mystery/horror novel. I ate unhealthy food. I used my camera a little, (no story, no point, no cinematic Academy Award forthcoming). And yes, I spent time with my mom. ;D woooo.... but she is a great cook.
My day job.....blecthck! Let's just say, I work with other people's money, and there are lots and lots (and lots) of zeros before the decimal point. And I have a numbnut spineless worm of a boss. And just because the stock market is open and trading this Friday, I have to work New Year's eve.
Jimerson-I really like the locking door and everyone being on the other side of it thing. I might try that with my daughter. ;D
