My stereotype of rural America

This goes back a few years (to my high school days) but I came across this recently and I thought I'd post it. Yes, I know it has some technical flaws, and it was shot long before the DVX100, but...

This is a trailer, I guess...more a montage from a short film I did. There is some bad language in this so be warned.

The actor is Geoff Pilkington, who I believe is a real up-and-comer.

"rear up-and-comer"  ;D  hehehehehe Stereotypo! There are just too many joke possibilities. My head hurts. Who wants to be the first to take the bait?

Wow. That's funny. That *really* needed to be corrected. It actually fit this piece quite nicely though. Oh Deliverance.

Having grown up in rural America, what's my reaction likely to be when I view this?

Re: My stereotype of rural America

Being in rural America I will say this. Your actor did an outstanding job, but there is no way to make him look convincing as that character so he wasnt right for a part that around here, you could fill authenticaly. It is very funny though, and not a far cry from dead on in many ways. And I re-iterate...the actor was very good as far as performance goes.
