Any Kubrick fans out there? I've been a long time fan, writing essays and articles for altkubrick.net. I figure if Truffaut can salivate over Hitchcock in his magazine articles, I can do it with Kub.

If you're a die-hard Kubrick fan, you should find it interesting. Kubrick and Renoir were practically the two guys who inspired me to take up film-making.

Take care.

I freaking love Kubrick - but I'm at work so I can't check out the site. I will take a look when i get home this evening. :)

Nice!

I like Kubrick too. I don't absolutely love his films, but I have major respect for the man.

Well you just made my bookmarks folder.

Surely you saw the thread regarding analysis of The Shining, etc.? There's a guy who gives a critique on a lot of flicks... and while I'm not blown away by ALL of his analysis, he did give me a new respect for Kubrick... although I gotta' say that I was never that much into his films... even though he does inspire me... if that makes any sense.

I admire logic... even if I don't agree with the path... I like to see people who can follow one.

Nope. Is it on this forum or posted offsite? Sounds interesting.
