My School Blocked DVXuser!

My school applied a new filter system on all the computers, so now I can't read DVXuser while I'm at school in the library. How will I feed my addiction?

I've tried different proxies and webarchives, but they never work.

Oh well, I'll just have to browse more while I'm at home.

My school is trying to "protect" me from the harms of the scary internet. I could look at porn on the school computers if I wanted too, but of course, forums are much worse.
 
Sounds like a job for the ACLU if I ever hear of one.

Seriously, explain that you are an aspiring filmmaker and access to this forum is necessary to further your academic persuit.

If all else fails, find a route around the block, steal a teachers password, hell do what ever you need to do.
 
Why don't you talk to someone about getting it unblocked? You could show them the site (just stay out of the Cafe) and demonstrate that's it's a valid resource. It shouldn't be that difficult.
 
Usually schools block any kind of site that has some sort of chatting on it...my school doesnt block them...hell...i got onto some porn sites in 3rd period keyboarding.
Some schools are different..but mine is like...super laid back....but they block shockwave.com for games but dont block pornos....its sad....wait i take that back..

I will definately talk to one of the admins walking around the halls this week. I have a list of proxies, and about 1/6 of the time they work, but then they are really, really slow, and is not worth the wait.

I can't even check my Email (.mac) at school because they insist that I use their lame in house system for email.
 
I was gonna say... I mean, if any librarian ever needed justification to block a site, that zooming-in-crotch-David-Hasselhoff picture would just about do it, dontchathink?
