Hey, everyone. I just thought I would pass this along to our membership as you may find it to be a great opportunity to make a film, enter a fest, gain exposure, and win some prizes.

RODE (one of our long-time sponsors) is having a big, online, short film competition. They have a prize pool worth over $70,000 USD. Looks like you can enter just about anything into the competition... from theatrical, and documentary, to music videos, etc.

CLICK HERE to check it out and for all the details on the competition from RODE.

I was even told you can upload old shorts as long as you have a behind the scenes of a rode mic, also you can enter as many vids as you like, so me and my freinds will be making three that each of us will direct.

Too bad about the "behind the scenes" reel. I just shot a fantastic doc short using a Rode, and it's very much about sound, too. Alas, it was just me and the soundman, so all we have is stills.

not even footage of the mic reflecting off of something? maybe go back to the location with your cast act like your filming it and get some footage lol
