I checked the mail today, and there it was: my first bank statement for Hooligan Nation Productions. The only thing on it was the initial deposit I made to open the account, but I'm jazzed anyway. All I need now are clients...and a new laptop with DVrack...maybe some better lights...mattebox...


I've started a number of small businesses in my life, but this is the first time it's doing something I love. I'm in over my head and loving it.

great! I got a "gift" from the bank when I opened an account. I have it all sealed and wrapped up for sentimental value. sniff, sniff..

what else? I took a picture of my first DVD on the TV set.
what else? I saved a "receipt book" from my first hand written receipt to a client. ( that was awful. I basically ran into the drugstore and bought a receipt book and came back. I was embarrassed though, as I'm no accountant and bad at math anyway and didn't really even know how to fill it out!!

CONGRATS!! That's awesome. I'm hoping to go get my business lisence within the next few days or early next week. I just have to figure out how the hell it all works. :D

I agree... don't really care about the oscars though.. its a popularity contest.. I rather get a award from cannes, or some other festivals in europe, asia and north america.
