Hey everyone,

I just got a new Go30Pro in the mail today. Here it is:

So far so good. I have been learning to use it all day and I'm amazed at the quality. I'll have a sample clip up for you soon. Hopefully tonight.

P.S. Yes, I know I have to get something for the rod support so it will reach the adapter and actually support it. :) Didn't realize it would come up short until I got the thing.

Thanks,
IF

wow...thanks so much, I'm still at work but will write back with some questions if you dont mind? Great looking stuff...thanks for posting!

Did you use any lighting when making those clips? How long did it take to get the adapter after you ordered it?

HAHAHA Thanks guys. Yes, ask away. I don't mind at all.

I know that tripod is crazy weak. hahaha I'm working on it.

I didn't use any lighting for the clips other than the room light and natural light from it being day time. The yellow/orange clip all I did was boost up the Chroma stuff in the scene file to +7 and it gave me that kewl color.

It took about 7-10 days for me to get the adapter. About a week actually now that I think about it.

The more I'm learning to use this thing, the better it gets. Maybe I can try to get some more up today since I can control it better.

Alright here is a longer clip and I tried the adapter in different situations. There is some vignetteing on some of it because I failed to zoom in enough. But for the most part it looks good. Some camera shake from the pitiful tripod. hahahaha But at least there is cool music. :) No special lighting for any of this, just house lights.

Enjoy. :)

hook your camera + adapter up to your computer, with your NLE capture option on, and view your cameras live image. then zoom in and focus till its super sharp. then record the settings, and since the go35 is built the way it is, the settings wnt change from set up to setup. so you can accuratly use those settings again.

I understand how to use it. Thanks. I understood before I made the clips I was just testing it out. You know, how one does when they are just trying to check out a thing or two? hahahaha I can see it on the LCD without hooking it up to my PC, I just didn't care too much at the time. :)

Thanks though. The instructions that comes with it says that too. New clips shall be perfection. HAHAHAHA :D

That's kewl you and Jim are friends. He's a nice guy for sure.

Yep. I'm on the DVX100B. :) I love it. Taking this thing to Germany and Prague for some travel video too. I can't wait.

is the GO-35pro still in production? I've sent email to Jim with no response? And he hasnt posted since late winter at DVXuser?

Just a tip. I know you're just showing of tests. But 1 min and over 30 seconds is too long to look at a ugly vase...
Start editing your shots a bit "faster". Make it more appealing to look at.
I mean, the adapter is nice, but it's just a tip...
