Here is my proposed build I am about to take the jump into. I use various sound and visual apps but this is geared at using Avid and maybe Adobe as well as doing some compositing. Shooting mostly HD and still use an XL2 some. Went with lower latency RAM over higher speeds for OCing as i like a stable system. Let me know what you think its coming in at about $2000 before Video card right now.
