my keyframe controller has vanished

to quote from the Vegas Help for 8.0c, "The Keyframe Controller is displayed at the bottom of Video FX, Video Media Generators, Track Motion, and Transition dialogs and is used to add and remove keyframes and control the FX parameters for individual keyframes". Well, it doesn't appear any more for me, except for Track Motion (and it also still appears fine in for example the crop/pan dialogs). Have I accidentally set some Preference setting or option the wrong way?

Make the dialog box bigger on the bottom.

Move the mouse just above the bottom of the dialog box (it will be an up/down arrow cursor) and click and drag UP. The area is resizable and yours has been resized to "nothing".

Thank you, jeditdv, yes, that was the problem. Most bizarre, it had been working fine just a couple of weeks ago, I must have accidentally dragged something without even realising it...
