My 'first' Vegas Project

I've been following the Sony FX1 threads, as well as the Vegas threads on this site, and have seen some posts about "slow motion liquid" and some about playing around with speed and zooms. So basically... this is my very first Vegas Movie Studio project as well as my first scene . (Shot with the HC1, but outputed as a low res video for better sizing)

Audio is ""The Blood of Cuchulainn"
Composed by Jeff and Mychael Danna (not sure what rules/legal issues I may be braking by using it for this sample??)

I used "Windows Media v9, 512kps video"... can anyone recommend what the best "small sized' compression/format would be to use? (for web material).

After watching your clip, I want to eat an apple...I mean I wanna drink beer. yeah...beer. ha!

Very cool.

Maybe have a comedic voice over about the wee-little leprecans drinkin Irish stout.

Hey...I haven't finished my first cup of coffee this morning..that's my excuse.

hahah.. thanks.

Actually... another question I have.. is that the MOtion Tracker zoom actually makes the entire 'framing' zoom in and zoom out. Maybe it's my ouput settings... I have it set to DV Widescreen, and I have tried rendering with both the "STretch to Fit" checked 'on' as well as checked 'off'. Basically I was trying to enlarge and shrink the video, but keeping the '16:9' framing the same size. (You'll notice how the edge at the top and the bottom slowly enlarge, when I would like that edge to stay the same size and only have the visuals move).
