[Chris Messineo]

For a quick test, I just did my first special effect.

Yes, that's me.

Yes, I realize the lighting is horrible.

Yes, that is me making a strange whooshing sound.

Still, it was a lot of fun and I can't wait to play with some more effects.

Looks pretty good to me.

What did you do it in?

[Chris Messineo]

I used Sapphire (http://www.genarts.com/).

I've had the package for a while, but I've always used it for lighting changes or for transitions. This is the first time I used it for an effect like this.

That was pretty well done. The only glaring thing is that all your fingers were jiving, but the source of the lightning was only one finger on each hand. That's the only thing that seemed off to me.

Hey Chris, don't forget to watch my 6k video... you may be pleasantly surprised!

[NoahK]

What would totally sell it more would be a flashing blue light on your face during the lightning. Looks pretty tasty.

[KOVAROVA]

looks cool CM. great for a first time.

and NoahK if that is you.. you are kinda hot.

I totally agree, but that meant a reshoot or adding more lightning and I was too lazy for either.

That was hilarious!
