My experience with the G35 Prototype

Hey all!

I was lucky enough to be able to use the Guerilla35 for a shoot in Bellingham Washington about 2 weeks ago. Although this was just the prototype, I felt that it provided excellent results. I was extremely happy with it and the footage (which I will receive in the mail anyday now and will be incorporated into my new demo reel) was spectacular. I pulled off some pretty nice shots and I'm excited to share with all of you.

When the final version finally comes out, I'm going to get my hands on one for sure.

Hey Chayse :) No problem.. I will for sure.
The 200mm prime shooting the eyeball was nuts!

Ya. When you described it to me I visualized it exactly the way you said and this last show I was on I couldent stop telling people about it.

Oh, the last show you were on, coincidence was the show I was supposed to be on as well (kinda) with the remote head. The Chinese guy, Kevin Lo, wanted to rent my remote head.

Glidecam was nice enough to replace the wire for free...well, I'm waiting for mine to arrive there before they ship mine but that's good news for me... phew!

Hah! thats messed. The shoot was good. I ended up A camera and crane oping and it was pretty good. The tilt was at the tripod head and felt good when I could jib at the same time. You can really get the feel of it. Kinda like if you used a geared remote head, your remote head would of have been better because we had a couple shots were we needed to pan at the head.

Anyway, sorry I couldn't fix the wire, it was defiantly something you have to replace due to the fact the we couldn't find where the short was without ripping it apart. Good to hear glide cam takes care of its customers.
