Hey everyone,

I just got wrapped up DOP'ing my first indie feature film. We shot with my DVX100 decked out with followfocus/mattebox/Century Optics lenses and DVRACK. - This was my first time using this gear with the DVX and it was an awesome experienece.

What kind of filter package did you use? In every shot, your filter stages are pointing straight up - no polarizers outside?

It looks like my century optics focus ring is getting a good workout. A petroff MB, if i'm not mistaken. Nice skateboard, i'll have to keep that setup in mind for my current production. It's great when people take the time and get some good behind the scenes pics and footage for us gear freaks.

Are you using the laptop as a field monitor? What program are you using to do that? Are you also capturing on the flie? It would be great if i could hook up the laptop and then have it capture the takes, ask me if i want it or not (I.E 'print' it) and that way the shoots done and i have already captured the takes i like... such a thing exisit?

Morgan that's awesome! The mattebox in question is a 3 stage Petroff mattebox. Rented from probably Mike @ Image Gear here in Toronto....great rental shop..gotta give him a plug!
