Just thought I’d share this trailer for my documentary “Dreams” I made for one of Redbull’s BMX athletes a few years ago.

This documentary was shot primarily with a DVX but when it broke 3 days into my 2 week trip to Japan I finished it with an HVX, Canon XHA1, XL2, REDOne, 5D, plus many more cameras haha.
This trailer is mostly DVX with some HVX stuff.

I finished in SD because thats what most of the source footage was acquired with but I think its aged fairly well…
Even though this was made a few years ago, I think I’ve improved a little since then as a “filmmaker” but I’d love to hear what you all think of this trailer.

"Follow Professional BMX rider Terry Adams around the world as he shares the never-ending passion for flatland that runs in his veins. This movie includes never before seen combos, links, and tricks along with exclusive interviews with key industry professionals and Terry about how he turned his love for riding a bike into a prosperous career. With his progressive riding, constant presence in the media, and contagious positive attitude, Terry has inspired and motivated flatland riders in every corner of the globe."

Nice vid. I liked the tempo and the reverse zoom at the beginning. I am going to try and use a DIY follow focus on my zoom-out to get a similar effect.

Who did you get picked up by for this?
