Hey there,
So I've been lurking for a while, learnt loads from here and thought you guys might be interested in my DIY attempt.
I've gone with the vibrating style but am experimenting with spinner, i think they are definately the way to go with this type of DIY adapter.
I made my GG holder using CADCAM and made it out of 2mm plastic and carbon fibre pins. I've used a small pancake motor from solarbotics to make it wobble.
For the GG i self fround a microscope slide using 9 micron WAO, although i also have 5 and 15 micron screens aswell, I have made it very simple and easy to switch out GGs.
I bought my condenser lens from surplusshed and have placed it inbetween the GG and Achro, but i think it is causing CA at the edges of the image so I am going to switch the configuration around soon and do some tests, with the condenser between the GG and slr lens.
For the achromat i am using a 2nd hand cinevate achro that i picked up for £70.
At the moment i am shooting with a set of old Pentax SMC primes which are pretty nice IMO.

Shot this video quickly in my kitchen using just the houses lighting, just excited to get to use it for the first time.
i use a 28mm and a 135mm
