Video compression
| Codec | H.264 (high profile) or baseline | |
| Bitrate encoding | VBR 2 pass | |
| Frame size | 720p is best for web | |
| Frame rate | 24p Same as your source (if your footage exceed 30fps, Encode at 50% that time rate Example : If you shot 60fps, set it to 30fps) | |
| Target bit rate | 2 Mbps | |
| Max bitrate | 2.4 Mbps Much motion in the video ?higher bit rate necessary to have it look good | |
| Key frame distance | since its 24p, i will use 120 (Not a lot of movement : 5 times the framerate Lot of movement 2-3x the framerate (2x in an article) Example : 24p (120, 48-72) 60p (300, 120-180) | Vimeo says keyframe distance unchecked |
| Level | 4 | |
Don’t use « render at maximum depht »
Audio compression
| Codec | AAC-LC (chose dolby instead of PCM) |
| Data rate | 320kbps |
| Sample rate | 48kHz |
| Bit depht | 24bits |
