I've had the DV Rig Pro and DVX100 for about 6 months now.
I love the thing.
And I did a shoot with the DV Rig Pro, the DVX100, and the Mini35 lens adapter last weekend.
This week I just did three days of test shooting the device with all seperate factors.
Here's my conclusion.
To get the steadiest shot possible:
1. Use the support pod
2. Put your left hand on the bar, push forward as hard as you can. Make sure the weight is pushing forward on the back of the rig.
3. With the right hand, push down on the camera on the top handle.
By doing this you are stablizing the camera down and the weigt is moving it forward.
I have my test footage on the mean streets of NYC of this that I will try to upload later tonight to show how nice and steady it can make it.
