My battery SUCKS!

I don't know what it is, but the Panasonic Battery I got w/ my camera really sucks. I know virgins who would last longer than my battery. I'm not using it in harsh conditions or anything and I literally have about 25 minutes TOPS w/o using the LCD. Bought it in October. As soon as I can solicit enough money from the generous but unsuspecting patrons of the local marketplace I will buy a new one.

Make sure you buy a battery from this site! ;D

Have you had your camera plugged in constantly since october? Leaving them plugged in will sometimes decrease battery life, but I think that it takes more than a few months.

do you have your receipt? It might still be under warranty?

I bought some crap batts from adorama last year. recently I could only shoot 15 minutes on them. They exchanged them.

My supplied battery doesn't last long either. I bought some more from eBay (before I knew about DVXuser) and they aren't much better. Next time it's only DVXuser batteries for me!

I got the battery w/ the camera, so I doubt they will exchange them. Besides, it's not really worth the time that I probably won't be able to shoot. I'll just buy the dvxuser battery as soon as I can.

sounds like a warranty issue to me. I would at least try and get a replacement.

i would venture to guess that the majority of the people on here never use the battery that came with their camera.

i used mine for maybe a day or two until the package from jarred came and i've never used the factory supplied battery since.

I bought my cam used (91hrs) and the original battery still works very well as a paper weight.
The 3500s from Jarred are very good.

My original battery last for 29mins! :'( Of course I still use it because she was my first...
..So I cheated on her and bought 2 more.
