My Audio Drops Out from lav

Hi, Im using the DVX100 with the Azden 500UDR receiver and 41BT bodypack transmiter.

Prior to the ceremony this Saturday I checked the audio and everything was fine but once the ceremony gets going the audio kept out dropping out. For a spilt second I would not hear anything on the headphones and you could see the meters drop all the way down. I had to switch to my shotgun mike because it got so bad.

I tested the batteries on a cheap radioshack battery checker and they came up good.
My question is this: Is it the batteries and the battery checker is no good or can it be something else like interference even though I was 5 feet away from them (it was in the living room of someones house).

I have gotten RF interference from a transmitter and reciever not one foot apart. Is that system frequency agile? If not, then you are up a creek without a paddle. If it is frequency agile, then you could try to change frequencies.

It's amazing how much stuff gives off significant RF. Often you will have to more around to get the RX to pick up a signal. If your subjects are moving around randomly...you are pretty screwed in these circumstances.
