6 months later and 23 private msgs to Mr. Land (most of them unanswered), this issue is still unresolved. Even though I have received the one battery promised by Mr. Land, I would like to be reimbursed from FedEx for losing the package originally. Mr. Land already has the money, so he was not motivated at all to follow through with the claim, so I did. I have called FedEx at least 12 times. The end result is that they need Mr. Land to fax a letter to them stating that he gives them permission to settle with me considering he is the sender.
They will not settle with me without the fax from him (as of 4/30 they have not received one). At first they needed it on a letterhead, but since he did not have one, they would settle for a plain ole sheet of paper. Several times I've ask Mr. Land to do this, heck it would only take 2-3 minutes of his time. But my requests constantly go ignored.
I am a customer, even though he is making little to no money off of these batteries, I still deserve the respect of a paying client. I am not trying to stir up any trouble or emotions, but 6 months is an awful long time to wait. A part of me wants to say the hell with it, but the ego in me will not let this go. If I don't push the issue, then FedEx wins. I've already let the USPO get away with it, but not this time.
Mr. Land, if you would find it in your busy schedule to comply with FedEx and just send the fax, it would be greatly appreciated. I am sure you still have the info since I've given it too you 6 times already. I do not like feeling like a thorn in someones side, but hate being ignored even worse.
thanks for listening
