Just finished a little Dolly Mod project, the wheel sets screw directly into the 3/8 slots, so, i can switch between the stock wheels and mine :).
Using the 055 Manfrotto/ Video Fluid Head, for mounting.

$20 for the Dolly, $35 for (ABEC3) + (50mm Wheels).
$6 for Homedepot Hardware.

what did you mount the skate wheels on? Looks like something different than simply an L channel piece of aluminum you cut to length.

Its a standard L-Bracket Doohickey i suppose, it's in the roofing area of homedepot, with precut holes where the "axles" are. I drilled out the holes a little bigger to fit the 5/16 bolts. It has a flat spot in the middle, and that's where i drilled the 3/8" hole.

I realized that i had gotten the Tripod-Dolly used from a local camera store, Tempe Camera, though you can easily find it online. It's a SILK U700 Universal Dolly, but this should work with many other dollies, I've done this to a few friends dollies, they all utilized the 3/8" bolt socket as their standard mount, so it worked on all of em' quite easily.

Not sure about the posting on eBay rules, so, in the search, search phrases such as "50mm wheels" "50mm skate" you'll find more than enough deals, in tons of different colors.. i just choose white, looks good to meh'.

There was a deal, Free Shipping + (4) 50mm Skateboard Wheels for $7.99, so it was cheaper to get three of those. Just factory blank wheels, don't worry about the hardness, skate wheels are wide and have more area to move smoothly, less configuration on your build aswell.

cheers

The exact ones! Make sure to drill your holes flush, if youre running rollderblade wheels, it needs to be more accurate to run smoothly.
