You can use almost all NLEs with it. EDIUS has the best native support, Premiere Pro and Vegas can have excellent MXF integration if you use RayLight, Avid XPress Pro HD has some native support. Of major NLEs, only FCP doesn't have a way to work with the MXF files natively, but FCP includes a conversion capability that lets you work with the files once you convert them to Quicktime.
thanks...i was reading up on it once i found out that was the DCI format for digital projection. if i can hook up a blu-ray player to a christie projector and it looks good than i might be satisfied, but if the 2k or 4k looks better using the smpte MXF "standard" than i definitely want to go that route.
