Must have accessories

[235 Studios]

Hello everyone,

Although I'll be waiting until NAB to purchase my DVX, I thought that I would inquire of what accessories everyone had, and or flet were "MUST HAVES". I've done some searches and so far I've gathers this list, please add to it:

Formatt 500 matte box

Berry Green's DVX book & DVD

Jerry's 5000ma Battery

What else should be listed here?

Re: Must have accessories

I would add a UV filter to that. It simply screws onto your lense, and does nothing but protect your actual lense from scratches. Its nothing more than a clear glass, optically flat filter. Next, I would suggest a good tripod, and also a good shotgun mic. As far as suggestions that aren't super pricy on those items, the Bogen 525 tripod with 503 head is a nice one I hear, under 1k, and the Sennheiser ME-66 shotgun mic does the job pretty well. Hope that helps

Sorry about that Jarred . I guess that's what I get for trying to type so earily in the morning. Anyway, those are some great suggestions. Thanks for the input.
