Music video we shot on a bolex rex 5

Cool look. Very 1971!

What lenses did you use? Is that the spring wind powering the Bolex, or did you have an add-on electric motor?

thank you! we used kern switar lenses. 25mm for the wide, and a 75mm for the tighter shots. We also had a motor powering the camera.
 
i paid $315 for the my bolex. it is super minty and came with a 25mm lens and an electronic motor. There are definitely great deals on a lot of film related stuff on ebay if you're patient.

I sold my last Bolex and lenses on eBay last year. It had become just a desk piece needing dusting so I cleared it out along with other items not being used, but prized by folks as gold like my Studer reel to reel.
