Music Video Licensing?

A broadcasting network is interested in licensing my music video.
I don't know much about this except that they'll pay for the rights of my video to air for a certain period of time.

Any advice?

How much should I expect to receive?

What's a good deal/bad deal?

Thanks!

YOUR music video? as in, you directed it or is it your music? Generally the record label who owns the music pays for the production of the video and then owns the rights to that.

Who owns your video?

I directed/produced the music video and did it completely independently.
The band is unsigned, so they own the rights to their own music, but I made them all sign a release waiver before production.

So technically, I own the rights to the video.

interesting, in that case negotiate with network. It sounds like your clear legally, although I'm not sure how ur relationship will stand after you profit off their music.

actually, the band members are the ones who got contacted. They forwarded it to me, and I told them that if it works out, I'll cut them like 10%. So it's cool.
