Music Video Filter Question and Opacity Question

Anyone know a filter suggestion to make my colors "POP" for a music video?

and another unrelated question but what do most of you do to darken a scene up? do you drop the opacity, this is what I have been doing.

(1) 3 Way color corrector and up your saturation. Or use a normal color corrector if you just want to isolate a specific color range and just make that pop (called secondary color correction).

(2) Darken a scene - depends on why I'm darkening it. If I'm doing say day for night, then I'll likely make use of a few strategies. If it was just simply a bit too bright and you're simply "darkening" as part of the online, then again I'd go to my 3 way color corrector.

cheers.

I've not had good luck darkening my picture in 3 way color corrector it looks poor in picture quality, I make a lot of horror films fast so to give it a better darker look in post, I have been dropping the opacity in the controls section, just wondered if there is anything better for darkening the picture up in post.

Try the Level filter. The output controls can do
what you want. As a bonus the gamma control
can adjust the mid-range values.
