Music legality help

Need some help regarding Youtube and their music licensing. I'm doing an animation and would like to have my pick of music that's available on iTunes. Usually I see videos using music that isn't available via audioswap and in the bottom right corner there's simply a link to purchase the iTunes song. Being that the link is provided, does that then mean that you can use the song and the audio won't be stripped?
